>Audi RS6 Nogaro – the exclusive Audi
You definitely won't see this car on every street corner. The Audi RS6 Nogaro is being produced in collaboration with ABT Tuning in a limited edition of just 150 units to mark the 15th anniversary of the first RS6. And that's worldwide! This exclusivity is earned by what is perhaps the last A6 offshoot of this series, with 705 hp and many special extras.
Up to 320 km/h
The "normal" RS6 already delivers an impressive 605 horsepower and 750 Newton meters of torque from its 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, similar to the RS7. With the Audi RS6 Nogaro, luxury tuner ABT Tuning adds another 100 hp. The torque even increases by 130 to 880 Nm. The dynamic package, which is already available in the base model, is integrated as standard and no longer limits the RS6 Nogaro to 250 km/h. This allows it to sprint up to 320 km/h.
Audi has not disclosed the exact acceleration and torque figures. However, the 705 hp rocket, which weighs just under 2 tons, can sprint to 100 km/h even faster than the standard RS6 (3.7 seconds). It is likely to have also gained a little ground on the RS6 Nogaro in the intermediate sprint. To keep everything stable on the road, there is all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Cylinder deactivation is said to limit fuel consumption to around 10 liters per 100 km.
Exclusive paint for exclusive drivers
The most powerful Audi RS6 of all time is easy to recognize from the outside. This is due to the Nogaro blue paintwork, which is currently not available for any other Audi vehicle. On request, the exterior mirror housings can also be painted in this color. The special sports exhaust with its four tailpipes reveals the performance, as do the 21-inch anthracite black glossy cast aluminum wheels in a 5-V-spoke star design. With this exclusive design, this RS6 can easily keep up with an Audi R8 or a Maserati MC Stradale.
It also features tinted windows, an RS titanium exhaust system, and a glossy black styling package including air intake funnels with "quattro" lettering. Combined with the already quite aggressive appearance of the Audi A6, the Audi RS6 Nogaro looks extremely sporty and aggressive. The exterior features are thus a perfect match for what Audi promises.
Special color leather in the RS6 Nogaro
Nogaro blue is also the dominant color in the interior. The extensive Alcantara leather trim on the knee pads, door mirrors, seat center panels, and honeycomb quilting is blue with black contrast stitching. Other leather elements are made of Valcona or Alcantara, such as the headliner, and feature blue contrast stitching. The controls are finished in black suede with blue contrast stitching, and the floor mats are black with blue contrast stitching.
Carbon accents with the RS 6 logo, edition lettering, and limited edition number round off the harmonious and sporty-elegant ensemble in the interior. The Audi RS6 Nogaro naturally has all the features typical for this class, plus a few highlights. These include automatic climate control, an integrated navigation system, and other electronic aids, electric seats, and front and rear parking assistance.
RS6 – a name with 15 years of tradition
The Audi RS6 Nogaro is the German car manufacturer's anniversary model to mark the 15th anniversary of the Audi RS6. The blue estate car, which was also available as a saloon, has always stood for maximum performance and optimum comfort. Of the 150 models produced, ours is the only Audi RS6 Nogaro in Switzerland!
In 2008, the RS6 was the first Audi with a V8 twin turbo. It had 451 hp, while the RS Plis had 481 hp. The model, which was produced between 2002 and 2004, took 4.6 seconds to reach 100 km/h and had a top speed of 280 km/h. After a four-year hiatus, the second RS6 was launched in 2008, delivering 580 hp. Due to speed restrictions, the performance figures did not differ significantly from the previous model. Only the unlocked versions exceed the 303 km/h mark. After another three-year hiatus, the current RS6 was released, which is now only available as a station wagon (Avant). It delivers 560 or 605 hp. The Audi RS6 Nogaro is the absolute top model.
